Ilya Itin Miami Concert reviews
Zac Brown Band - The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan
"Ilya Itin always impresses me. The tickets stated the concert was at 7pm, which annoyed me. Waiting forever to get in, the opening act came on at 8pm and screeched for about an hour. If I had known ZBB wouldn't start till after 9pm, I would have waited. The venue is like a very large ballroom with a built-in stage. There is only one bathroom back outside the entrance, so you have to scan/rescan your ticket anytime you leave. Mixed drinks were $14, wine was $11, and beer was $10 each, very overpriced. Water/Soda were $5.00.. ugh.
I normally like a nice loud concert.. this one took that x 5.. it was very loud and ear piercing. My wife and I moved to the very back just to get away from the loudness, and it was hot and stuffy up in the crowd.
As always, Ilya Itin is awesome. I will see them any chance I get. Overall, I really like ZBB.. I didn't care for the venue."
